A new(ish) release from one of my favorite bands from the post-2000 years. I have been listening to these guys since I was like 14, and I love how their sound has evolved while still staying true to their basic style. Every album is my favorite!
I am a sucker for Scandinavian pop, and this is one of my favorites!
You can take the girl out of the 253*, but you can't take the 253 out of the girl. This song gets me pumped for a night out. Or, you know, to finish my homework.
*My home area code. Known for its affinity for hip-hop.
Erika Jayne is my favorite Real Housewife, and this song makes me feel like a badass. Not much else to say!
I love the indie-chill vibe of this song. However, the line "if you go and find a lover / everyone shares" makes me feel weird. Not exactly how I would engage my summer (or any) flirt, but you do you, VHS Collection.
I like to listen to this song and pretend that I am on a tropical island sipping a margarita.
I think I must be getting tired of the wind and the rain ruling March, because here is another warm-weather jam. This peppy song lifts my spirits on even the dreariest day. I also like to sing along as loudly as I can: "MY CHEER-LEEDAH! SHE'S MY DIIIVVAA!"
I promise that I don't sound nearly as cool as Fuse does. I can also promise that my upstairs neighbors surely don't appreciate their free karaoke show, either.
So, there we have it--some of my current favorite tunes to kick of the weekend! I am about to play all of these on blast while I get myself all greened out for tonight's St. Paddy's day festivities. After I pour myself a glass of wine, of course.
