Monday Motivation - Back in Full Swing!




Hello and Happy Monday!

As I typed that, I realized that I started yesterday's post with almost an identical intro.  I know-boring.  I am going to work on coming up with some more interesting ways to start blog posts--promise!

Anyhow!  Monday is once again upon us.  Crazy, right? And now that I am back in the full swing of real life, I thought there could be no better start to a new school year than to revive my weekly Monday Motivation series.  I love writing these posts at the beginning of the week--not not only do they get me amped for everything I have on the calendar, but they also hold me accountable to myself. Haha!

While I was in the US, I stocked up on some everyday planning essentials, like this pretty agenda and notebook!  For some reason, I always feel way more motivated to keep on top of all my projects and appointments when I have pretty stationary.  Anyone else feel me on this?

Blogging is such a strange hobby/job.  I arrange my stuff on the floor in an aesthetically pleasing manner and take photos of it.  But I love it!

Another thing I am excited to get back into this week is my training routine.  Training is something that I got into a very good habit with this spring, but unfortunately fell out of step with due to some health issues (I might go into this more in depth in a future post, but for now I will leave it at that).  However, after months of not being as active as I would like and not eating the most healthful diet, I found myself feeling pretty ... crappy, for lack of a better word.  In LA, I was eating a pretty fresh diet consisting of lots of lean proteins, vegetables, and fruits (with of course some indulgences here and there, because I don't believe in cutting out favorite treats as long as they're enjoyed in moderation).  I noticed an immediate change in how I was feeling, so I am trying to keep the trend going now that I am home in Norway!  Staying active and making more mindful food choices have so much to say for my mood and energy level; it's so important for me to pay attention to both of these factors in my everyday life.
